Who We Are

 

Midwest Timber Inc. is an independently owned and operated lumber facility that has been treating quality Southern Yellow Pine and Ponderosa Pine since the day we opened our doors more than 35 years ago. Our commitment to excellence in product and service continues to be our focus as we supply the Midwest with the very best treated wood available.

Midwest Timber produces treated lumber in our three pressure treating cylinders. We also produce kiln-dried after-treatment material using our four dry kilns. Our facility also includes over 27 mmbf of inside storage space, which allows us to keep a majority of our material under cover. We unload railcars on our flat car siding, which has a 20-car capacity, as well as our covered box car siding, which has a six-car capacity. Over two-thirds of our site is paved with asphalt, while the remainder is covered with stone.

In addition to providing quality treated wood products, we also offer: reload services for trucks and rail cars, low-temperature dehumidification drying in our dry kilns, trucking services, millwork, and treating service only (TSO) opportunities with Copper Azole and CCA.
